Thank goodness we have something to fill the void until “Doctor Who” returns in 2010: Sherdog reports that U.K.’s Channel Five will begin airing a one-hour, best of UFC program titled “UFC: Main Event” that is earmarked for midnight Monday mornings beginning Sept. 14. Five also has struck a deal to port “The Ultimate Fighter” to Five USA, a spin-off funnel that focuses on our crass and puerile American programming. I hope Brits are into urination.
