
The official fighter purses for those who competed at UFC 106: “Ortiz vs. Griffin 2″ this past Saturday night (Nov. 21) from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, were released earlier today by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).
As expected, main event participants and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champions Forrest Griffin and Tito Ortiz, accounted for nearly 50 percent of the entire payroll with their combined salaries ($500,000).
Former number one welterweight contender Josh Koscheck also had a big night, pulling in $106,000 for his submission win over the hard-hitting Anthony Johnson. Coupled with his double-shot fighter bonus, it might be safe to assume he’s treating the AKA boys to breakfast at least once this week.
Also breaking the six figure mark was Antonio Rogerio Nogueira ($100,000)…
