Former number one heavyweight contender Gabriel Gonzaga has been forced out of his upcoming showdown with up-and-coming prospect, Junior dos Santos, at UFC 108: “Evans vs. Silva” from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Jan. 2, 2010, because of a severe staph infection.
