Seven-fight UFC veteran Elvis Sinosic (8-11-2) will return to the Octagon once more in front of his hometown crowd in Sydney, Australia, when he tackles fellow countryman Chris Haseman (20-16) at UFC 110 from the Acer Arena on Feb. 21 according to a report from the Brisbane Times.
Sinosic will attempt to avenge a 1997 loss to Haseman after “The Hammer” submitted “The King of Rock and Rumble” with the very painful and long since banned “chin to the eye” submission. In fact it was the Haseman’s second-straight win using the modified eye gouge during the Caged Combat tournament-style event over ten years ago in Sydney.
Despite having 36 professional fights, Haseman has only competed three times since 2002, most recently at the Fight World Cup in Queensland, not coincidentally titled “Return of the Hammer…
